Cleaning
In your eyes, when I ask you to clean I might as well be asking you to poke your eyeballs out or worse. You think that I am completely torturing you by making you clean up your toys. You immediately tell me how tired you are and how much you don't like cleaning. This keeps up the entire time we are cleaning, but luckily for you I don't back down. I know that it is my job as a mother to teach you the importance of cleaning. I am just trying to help you become a great father some day. Every once in a great while I see a glimpse of you as you pick up a toy the first time you are asked. And while this is the exception rather than the rule, I know that there is hope and I won't give up. I want you to know that I believe in you and you will be a great husband and father some day. I love you, Brigham!

Fred Flinstone
Last Thursday you got to go with Daddy to track practice without Brooklyn and Talmage. You thought you were just the coolest thing ever. You sure look up to the wheelchair racers and are so observant of their every move. You even pretend to be paralyzed when getting in and out of the wheelchair. You will transfer from the chair to the bed and not use your legs at all. I am amazed at how observant you are.
Daddy was telling me that while you were at practice that you love getting the small orange racing chair and race up and down the track. Although you don't actually get IN the chair you just put your legs across the bar and then run with it. It reminds everyone of Fred Flinstone's car. You crack us all up. Next time I need to send the camera with dad so we can have a picture :).

Wheelchair Races
I had so much fun with you this morning during our "workout." After playing soccer for a while you decided that it was time to beat me in basketball--wheelchair basketball of course. Even though I watch you everyday in the wheelchair, I am still amazed by you. You have amazing control of the chair and you are getting so good a pop-a-wheelies. Much better than me that's for sure. It was fun laughing and playing with you. The basketball game soon turned wheelchair races. I am a bit embarrassed to say, but you can beat me (and all of the neighborhood boys who are older than you). You especially like cutting me off and would laugh every time you did it. I sure love your smile. I can't help to smile when I look at you. You are a special kid, Brigham and you bring so much love and laughter to our home. I love you!

UFC Fight
So you just came up to me and put me in a rear naked choke. What 3 year old knows how to do that? And then you proceed to say, "I have my shirt off because I am UFC fighting." You crack me up!
